Delete Your Account and Data

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

1. Open Kalorimetre.
2. Open Settings — the gear icon at the top right of the Home screen, or from the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete Account, then confirm.

This works whether or not you signed in: data logged as a guest is tied to an account too, and is deleted the same way. The account and the data listed below are removed immediately. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, or you have already uninstalled the app, email bsdigitalapp@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Kalorimetre account”. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can:

• Delete any logged meal, water entry, weight entry or recipe — open the entry and choose Delete. It is removed from the device and from your account.
• Delete a community post you shared, from the post's menu.
• Withdraw AI consent under Settings → Privacy and AI, which stops any further data being sent to the AI provider.
• Revoke health permissions in Android Health Connect at any time, which stops steps and weight being read.

If you would rather have us remove a specific set of data for you, email bsdigitalapp@gmail.com from your registered address describing what you want removed. We complete these requests within 30 days. Retention of anything we must keep is described below.

What is deleted

Account information	Your email address and your Apple/Google sign-in identity.
Nutrition data	Logged foods, calories and nutrition values, water intake, goals and recipes.
Health and fitness data	Steps, active calories and weight history synced to your account.
Photos	Plate photos and profile pictures stored with your account.
Community content	Your posts, likes, saves and blocks.
Family sharing	Your family memberships and invitations.

What is kept, and for how long

• Purchase and subscription records. Retained as long as tax and accounting law requires (10 years under Turkish law). These are held by Apple and Google as the sellers of record; deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
• Backups. Deleted records may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.
• Anonymous, non-identifying data. Aggregated statistics that can no longer be linked to you are retained.

Data stored only on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
